Iron slave shackles

By florencegonz, 28 October, 2009
Description

My brother found them when he was living in Dalton, Georgia in his backyard.
The prior owner left a box that contained the shackles and some confederate dollor bills in an old shed. My brother then gave the items to me because he knows I like to collect old stuff.

Re: Iron slave shackles

They are not necessarily "Slave Shackles", the same things were used in prisons and chain gangs well into the 20th Century.
