Egg shaped vase w/jagged diagonal opening, bumpy outer glaze, slightly abstract hand painted thistle pattern w/goldleaf accents and trim on edge opening. Smooth/slightly bumpy Olive green inside glaze. Appears hand thrown, only about 1/4 inch thickness. May be a red clay or terra cotta?

These are nearly always post 1950 Decorator pieces that were made for the Export market after World war two and made into the 1970's. We retail similar pieces for less than $45.00.
