IVORY ELEPHANT VASE (EXTREMELY-WELL CRAFTED TO PERFECTION BY HAND)

Profile picture for user HDivision

Description

THIS IS AN IMMACULATE LOOKING ELEPHANT VASE THAT IS MADE FROM IVORY AS I HAVE NEVER FELT OR SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS, INCLUDING ITS TEXTURE AND COLOR AND WEIGHT.

THERE ARE DELIBERATE CRAFTED CRACKS THAT COULD BE MISTAKEN FOR REAL CRACKS IF YOU WEREN'T CAREFUL ENOUGH ALL OVER.

THE AMMOUNT OF DETAIL GONE IN TO THIS SEEMS NEAR SOMEWHAT IMPOSSIBLE IF YOU LOOK THROUGH A MAGNIFYING GLASS.

I CANNOT BE 100% SURE THE MAJORITY OF THE VASE IS IVORY (THIS IS WHERE I NEED HELP..) OR BONE ETC. (IS WAY TOO PERFECT TO BE FORMED FROM BONE IN MY OPINION)

THE TUSKS ARE VERY INTRIGUING WHEN YOU LOOK CLOSELY AS IS THE INSIDE OF THE TRUNK HAVING THE CROSSES RUN DOWN.

THERE ARE NO ARTISTIC SIGNITURES ANYWHERE (INCLUDING THE BOTTOM), THE ONLY ODD PART I CAN'T FIGURE OUT IS A PERFECT CIRCLE THAT HAS A 3MM IN CIRCUMFRENCE ON THE BOTTOM BASE BELOW THE PATTERN FROM THE THIRD PICTURE.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE THIS ONE OUT?! AS IT IS TOO PERFECT TO PICK ANY FAULT (AND ITS HAND-CRAFTED!)

THERE IS OBVIOUSLY THE YELLOW-BROWN SHADES (THE SHADES LOOK LIKE THEY ARE DELIBERATELY PART OF THE DESIGN!)

THE TUSKS ARE 40MM, THE HIGHEST POINT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM IS 180MM, THECIRCUMFRENCE IS ROUGHLY 220MM AT THE BASE
