ivory statue

My  father brought this and other carved ivory back from China whe he went in the late 1970s. He told us that he was one of the first businessmen to be invited to china. He also told us that when he was there, his car was the only car on the street. He showed us pictures and sure enough, there were a lot of bikes and no other cars.  When my father came back he brought us a lot of stuff. Multiple ivory carvings and jade carvings. I was only 3 at the time. My father passed away in 08, and the items were devided out to his children. that is all the info I have.
