J. CONNING Silver serving piece

Description

This beautifully engraved silver serving piece belonged to my great grandmother. Her initials are engraved on the handle (A McM - Anna McConnell). On the back of the handle i a stamp that reads J. CONNING MOBILE. I am interested in finding out any information on it the maker and its value.
