I have a painting by J E Meadows, titled Rustic Peace, I purchased it at Antique Shop/Cosignment shop. It is oil painted on canvas, Picture is describe as two children in front of an English Thatched Roof Cottage. the children appear to be playing on the lawn. there are several hens by them the sky is blue with puffy clouds. the background is an English countryside with long grasses and trees.
There is a tag on the back of the painting saying Lot 296
