Description
This is a limited edition sketch numbered 173/250 on what is likely acid -resistant textured paper in gilt frame under matted glass. Entire frame is 15x18". Subject bought in 1969--the woman and boy reflect the time in modern image. Double matting is yellowed slightly from storage and there are a few chips in gilted frame. Drawing itself completely intact and unharmed. I have researched the artist and there are several J Kellys in that timeline but I am not sure of fame or obscurity. I was a child when my mother and I went to New York to purchase from East 80s gallery and she is now passed away.
