Description

Japanese Arita Blue & White porcelain charger, 18th-19th century (?). 18" diameter, 2" high. Has been repaired with staples in the back. The interior is decorated with a landscape scene, the rim painted with a view of Mount Fuji, the landscape consisting of trees, rocks and lakes framed by supine dragons. The reverse is painted with Chinese characters reading "da ming Chenghua." piece
