trestle/refectory/slide extension table which extends from both ends (16’ pieces that slide out from either end, drop and then slide/lock into place). Without extensions, the table measures 62” long (5 feet) and with the extensions it is 94” long (nearly 8 feet!). There are natural age imperfections and one of the feet was repaired before we owned it. The table does not have a marker but does have written numbers on the underside. Table and chairs are sequential with numbering: see pics
I've not had it appraised but believe the set may be (1890-1904). The style does not follow any single design. There are English, French and Spanish influences throughout both table and chairs. The style carries the idea of a basic farmhouse/trestle table but has the flair of both French and Spanish design. I spent a lot of time trying to find something like it but was not successful.
I've provided a variety of pics that represent different seating arrangements. With both extensions out, the table can seat 8-10.
I want to sell the set and make I don't give it away at a price below it's value. Can you help?
