Description As you can tell by the pics and from my research this is a Chippendale style reproduction. It has intricate legwork with cabriole curves and ball and claw feet. Gadrooned on the bottom edge of the apron. I inherited it from my Grandmother and at first I thought it was just a card table. Upon inspection I found the remainder of the slides and the only marking- Franklin Woodworking Company, Louisville, Kentucky. Unfortunately noone knows where the leaves are, so I assume it could only be sold as a card table, unless someone wanted to actually use it and had leaves made. I would like to know what it is made of and approximate value, as well as any other info you may be able to discern. I have not come across anything like this online after extensive searching. This is the only place I found online that doesn't charge for these appraisals and would also like to know how I may support you guys in what you do. Thank you for any help.

The veneer on the underside of the folding piece is different than the rest of the table. I do not know why, maybe it was resurfaced but if so it was done flawlessly (except that it doesn't match). Can you tell what either or both are made of?
