On the front cover of the book their is no picture just a cursive signature of rudyard kipling, copyright of book says 1893, 1894 New York, good condition no rips or tears.

If this is a first edition, it may be worth some money. But condition means everything. And your copy looks pretty fine. I know only about those sold at Sotheby's. A double first edition ("The Jungle Book"1894 and "The Second Jungle Book"1895,) published by MacMillan, London, made 1.440 GBP. Nearly the top estimation of 1.500 GBP. It wasn't even in mint condition, having some spots and some slight wear. Go to their website and search the Books & Manuscripts department. They several more of those double, British editions on sale. But this New York edition...I don't know, hope the prices of the MacMillan twin edition give a indication about the value of yours.

I HAVE BEEN RUNNING INTO DEAD ENDS RESEARCHING MY ADDITION OF SAME SAID COPY BECAUSOF MINE  BEING PUBLISHED BY DOUBLEDAY & COMPANY , INC . GARDEN CITY , NEY YORK. ALL MY SEARCH RESULTS HAVE CAME UP NEGATIVE , I BELIEVE , BECAUSE THEY ARE NOY RECOGNIZING THAT PUBLISHING CO. AS BEING CORRECT. MCMILLAN PUBLISHING CO.  HAS BEEN LISTED AS PUBLISHER. AM I CORRECT IN ASSUMING THAT MCMILLAN WAS THE BRITISH PUBLISHING CO., & DOUBLEDAY IS THE COMPANY IN NEW YORK WHO INDEED PUPLISHED THE 1893,1894 COPYRIGHTED FIRST ADDITION JUNGLE BOOK IN THE UNITED STATES.         IT IS ILLUSTRATED BY J.T. KIPLING, W.H. DRAKE, & P. FRENZENY.                    COPYRIGHTED 1893, 1894 BY RUDYARD KIPLING.  1894 BY HARPER AND BROTHERS.
