Description

This was my grandmother's sugar chest. She had it at least throughout my mother's lifetime (born 1925). She probably inherited it but no one talked about this stuff in my family so anything beyond her in time is unknown provenance.

Medium I think my mother said "cherry" but not sure.

Date Period probably late 19th or very early 20th century

History I'm at least the third generation owner; probably goes back one more
