La barge mirror

Description

I found  this La Barge mirror made in Italy on our city's bulk item pick up day it's very heavily carved and appears to be some sort of plaster or gesso maybe? not sure if it is gold leaf or paint and it measures about 25 inches wide and about 47 inches tall  any info on the piece and its value if any would be greatly appreciated!
