Description

My wife inherited a "Lady’s Pendant Pocket Watch" from her mother. We believe her mother came to this country from Italy in 1924 and had the watch at that time. Attached are photos of this watch and the following observations:

  1. In photo #3 on the back of the escapement cover, is an engraving in script that reads "Remonitoir Cylandre 10 Rubio"
  2. In photo #3 on the inside of the watch back several hallmarks are present as well as the serial number (I assume) "15344" and an oblong around the number "0.585" which I assume is the gold karat rating of 14k. I could not clearly see or photograph the several hallmarks.
  3. In photo #4 on the inside of the escapement cover is engraved "METAL" along with the same serial number"15344".
  4. The diameter of the watch is approximately 28mm.

Please tell us what you can from these photos and observed markings and descriptions any attributes such as the maker of this watch, country of origin and any possible value.
