Lamp - Glass and Iron (Tiffany style ?)

Description

Very heavy lamp made of glass and iron (presumably due to weight). Goldish or brass color to the metal and goldish swirl to the white glass in shade. Two sockets for bulbs - one with pull chain and one with turn knob. Shade is approx. 15 inches in diameter. Lamp is approx. 21 inches tall.

Re: Lamp - Glass and Iron (Tiffany style ?)

This is a turn of the 19th century Slag Glass " Overlay" type lamp. They were made as lower cost alternatives to vastly more expensive lamps by Tiffany, Pairpoint and Wilkinson. Most tend to sell for under $400.00
