If a painting sells well it is duplicated many times by the artist, in some cases by the hundreds and sold wholesale to the dealer that runs the show. </p><p>Generally the price of the art is low and the people who run the show make the majority of their profit &quot;Upselling&quot; the customers elaborate frames ;~) Values for these paintings is very modest even 30 years after they were originally painted, we see then sell all the time at auction for less than $100.00.
