Description

This is a painting that hung in my grandmothers house in Lynchburg, Va. It is 18 x 22

upon her death in 1978, it hung in my parents house when I was growing up. I was born in 1950 and there is a year after some writing that I can't make out on the back, which is 1950. Along with many other beautiful things that were my grandmothers and after my parents died, this painting now hangs in my guest room. I can't find anything on this artist. Duchesne?

My grandmother loved to travel with her sister after my grandfather died and I'm thinking she may have gotten this in France. I could be wrong. i do think this is the original frame since no one has changed it since it was in my grandmothers house.

I would love to more about the artist and this painting and possibly it's worth. Feel free to ask any questions I may have forgotten.
