I have a large geishia doll incased in a red wooded glass box just gorgeous I ihavent a clue how to authenticate and it was from a friends parents who were world travelers and avid Alaskan hunters aswell...id like to appraise and find out t he history on the geisha dolls...shes so amazing ...clothes are vibrant and she holds an umbrella not porcelain but nylon covering.where what why and worth??have pics...

These have been made in huge numbers, most of them postdate the 1960's, brought back by Tourists and members of army, navy and airforce stationed in Japan. Quite a number of them end up on Ebay for less than $150.00.
