Description
I recently picked up this vintage tallship oil painting at moving sale. Painting itself measures 36" x 47" and has thick ornate wood frame which makes total 46 x 58.5" size. Scene has 19th(just guess) century french tallship sailing though the sea right before stormy weather hits it.
It doesn't have any artist sign on it. Seller lived abroad and said his father owned it. I would like to know true value of painting if it's good enough to become family heritage.
