History
The person I purchased this piece from claims it is an original A Santini sculpture that was made in 1940. I have had it appraised twice and both appraisers were not able to authenticate the piece. If anyone here can point me int he right direction in terms of appraising this piece or reffering me to an appraiser I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Re: The Last Supper by A. Santini

Actual pictures would be helpful. In general, since I have several & have done some research here goes...

A. Santini Sculpture Studio is in Italy. They make replicas from crushed Carrara marble and alabaster. This marble resin does look a bit like ivory. They have purely decorative value based on size & condition.

The average price range of your Last Supper, in white, is about $230.00. I did find one signed by the studio's artist G. Ruggeri for $900.00.

Original works by Amilcare Santini will be more valuable.

Re: The Last Supper by A. Santini

Can you comment on the different bases of these scuptures?  I have a white one with a black marble base which seems to be different than the white or wooden bases.  Also, where is there a market for these wonderful pieces?
