Description I cannot find another one anywhere comparable to this, Rolling pin with Blue Design. Has been in my family since new.Is in excellent condition. Looks like the Wooden Handle was hand carved. My grandmother had to learn to cook at the age of 5, due to the death of her mother, and she learned to make biscuits with this rolling pin. Appears to be ceramic, with blue willow type design

I have a similar rolling pin from the late 1890 that belonged to my husband's grandmother. It too is in excellent condition because according to my husband she did not use it as she was afraid she would break the ceramic. Grandma Logan lived in Kansas making me think they were common in that part of the country. Do you know of others that survived?
