Description These were given to my grandmother by her great aunt as a christening gift at the time my mother was born in 1916. At the time, Great aunt Charity told my grandmother that they'd been in the family about 100 years. They are in perfect condition, free from chips, cracks, stains, or other defects. They are almost translucent, very delicate, and I think it wouldn't take much to crush one with a strong hand. They are painted with a delicate pink floral pattern, with gold accents in what appears to be a French Provincial style (but that's to my untrained eye).
