Life Size Minnie Mouse Stuffed Doll

By Helana, 9 November, 2012
Description

I have a huge life size - maybe atleast 42" tall Minnie Mouse stuffed doll. The tag states that it was made for Disney by California Stuffed Toys Los Angeles PA173. There is a number on the tag that I can't quite see - not sure if it's the model number for the Minnie.

It's in very good shape, no rips, stains all the cothes are with it - tail is still intact (I didn't even realize she had a tail until last night when I moved her). I believe she has everything she is suppose to have still. Her eyes are felt - her mouth is felt with what looks like rops that makes the smile. Her tail is felt also.

I'm interested to know alittle more about her - I can't really find anything online. Is she worth anything - how old she might be - Is she a collectable?

She was given to us years ago but a guy who claimed he bought her at the park years ago. We know nothing about her other than she has sat in our back room for years and honestly I'm getting sick of looking at her.

Re: Life Size Minnie Mouse Stuffed Doll

Based on the type of her eyes, she dates post 1960 and WAS probably bought at the theme park.  The fact that she was made in the USA and has a fabric content also dates her to the post 60's as many items were later produced in foreign markets.    She appears to be in excellent condition, so I would price her around the $100 range.
