Abraham Lincoln White House porcelain sugar bowl - gift from French government - made in Paris 1861 - porcelain vitrified clay, quartz, rock crystal glaze and burnished gold - decoration "Against Slavery" - depicts slave breaking chains with words "Am I not a Man and a Brother" - gift to my parents on their 25th wedding anniversary in 1970 by Bill Klein, ceramics restorer and close family friend - has paper of authenticity from Bill Klein
