Description

"Little Rosebuds" book by Eilzabeth Tucker, Illustrated by Maud Humphrey.

Cloth backed pictorial boards, Stories and verses plus border illustrations by Tucker, featuring 6 magnificent full page chromolithograph illustrations by Humphrey depicting children. Blue cloth spine. Very scarce Humphrey title.

Cover has mild soil. Edges and corners of boards are a bit worn. Some water damage upper left corner front and back. Binding is looser in the front. Two old pencil and ink gift inscriptions.

History It was given to my great-grandmother by her uncle in 1900. She gave it to me on my first Christmas in 1965.
