Londontoy oil tanker no. 13 Imperial Esso.

Description

I just dug up this well-played, but charming toy. Haven't found much about this other than that LONDONTOY was a trade name of Webster Bros. Ltd, of London, Ontario, Canada. They were made in the forties and resemble the Tootsietoys of the period. This particular model's wheels have been crushed on one side so the toy is lobsidded. Consequently, the wheels won't turn. Looks like it is fixable, but I'll leave that to the pros. I think It was painted in Imperial Esso livery.
