Re: Lord of the Rings: Two Towers
History:
The 1966 Lord of the Rings: Two Towers book written by J.R.R Tolkien is the second fantasy novel written in the Lord of the Rings series. The UK 1966 edition was revised after the US edition from 1955 which brings the value down.
Market:
The market for US editions is very high at the moment as the price point can reach nearly $800 in good condition. The market for UK first edition is much lower and not as sought after. Right now, the market for Lord of the Rings first edition novels is average but on the very slight decline.
Value of your Book:
Your book appears to be in wonderful condiiton judging by the pictures. It is missing the sleeve which brings the value down a bit. As I stated above, the value of a UK first edition is not as highly sought after. I'd value your book at about $150-$200
Recently Sold Price Range:
The UK first edition of Two Towers has an average selling price of $89.87. My suggestion to you would be hold onto the book until it reaches the valued price.
If I was any help, it'd be a ppreiacted to have my answer accepted!
Re: Lord of the Rings: Two Towers
Thankyou very much!
Because, like you said, the prices are a bit lower at this moment in time,
will it start going back up in due course?
Re: Lord of the Rings: Two Towers
Generally, as long as you take good care of the book, it will increase in value as time passes. Lord of the Rings is a large name and the market should stay the same.
