I believe its a Cushman tilt top table. Has label under top reads "A CUSHMAN PRODUCT" No ??3 NO. BENNINGTON VERMONT. It's 21 inches tall, 20 inches across top at widest point. Has a wooden lever attached to a wire , which is attached to hook to latch table top. Has three legs attached to a turned colum.
Top is 6 sided, with kind of scalloped design comming to a point on each side . Edge has been shaped stepping from wide at bottom to narrower at top.

Cushman table
Your table dates from the second quarter of the 20th century and is in the Colonial Revival style, which is based on the designs of Thomas Chippendale. Cushman is a well known company and produced full lines of furniture in this style and many others. Tables like this were mass produced and survive in great numbers, so values are still very modest for them, they often go at auction for under $100.00.
