Description This is a figural bottle or decanter with a fox in a hunter’s outfit. His head is the cork and removes from the bottle. The pour spout is the top end of his horn. He is leaning on a barrel with an open book. He stands approx. 12” tall. There are marks on the bottom that look German or perhaps Austrian (gesetz-gesen) along with incised letters B&L and a number 3100 and blue mark. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks and only light crazing. I purchased the bottle at an antiques show in PA. The dealer that sold it to me said he purchased it and several other bottles at an auction of bottles from a well know bottle collector. I also purchased 4 other rare bottles from the dealer, but this one I have been unable to value or identify or date.
