I got this bedroom set from a friend of mine. She is 56, she said her parents had it all her life. There is a bed, 5 drawer chest of drawers, dresser vanity and bench. It was originally a yellowish tan color, I stripped it down and applied polyurethane. I re-covered the vanity bench. I have been unable to find anything that looks like this one. I am curious as to the style, time period, and maker. The clear, plastic knob is the original one. The stamp on the back of the chest are the only markings.

Re: Maple bedroom furniture set
Sets like this were mass produced after World War Two by a large number of makers, unless coming across a matching set with a label identifying a maker is next to impossible. Such sets were very loosely patterned after Colonial and Shaker style furniture.
