Description This is a small oil painting on canvas, signed on the lower right corner, Alpgonse De Neuvelle. The canvas measures 10" by 6 1/4". The frames dimensions are 13" by 11". On the back of the canvas is a small label with the artists name, and the title of the painting. The March.

History This painting was gifted to me about 20 years ago from an old friend in New York. My friends brother was a prominent surgeon during WW2. He had his practice in Manhatten after the war and it is believed that he aquired the painting then as a gift.
