This painting was gifted to me about 20 years ago from an old friend in New York. My friends brother was a prominent surgeon during WW2. He had his practice in Manhatten after the war and it is believed that he aquired the painting then as a gift.

Oil paintings really need a physical appraisal to determine their authenticity and value, there are simply too many things you cannot verifiy from images.
