it was used by my husband who was a hair stylist for 35 yearsprior ot his death in 1992 I don't know if he bought it new, I think he may have gotten it from a barber who was going out of business and had used it for many ;years.

<p>These were a real hot item back inthe 1980/90's when the baby boomer nostalgia demand was at its peak. But in the current market values for these pieces have not appreciated all that much since then. I agree with "lovejoy" about the price, but will add that this item might be worth most to someone who went to this barber shop. People pay good $ for things sentimental. So try local.
