Mary Poppins vinyl

Vintage record that I found at a resale shop and hope I was right and it is worth more than what I paid for it. On one side of the record it is scratched and the other side looked decent. I do not remember what makes a record useless minor scratches or scratches all together. I do not own a record player and haven't listened to it. I want to see if it has any value. The album is in decent shape and the record was and still is in a plastic sleeve. The album has come unglued along one side but other than that is in good shape. There aren't any visible stains or markings on the album cover either.
