Thanks for the info. I just started researching the origen of a mongrammed coffee urn from Meriden B. Compnay. It's dated 1887 under the mark and scales but the monogram is ornate script with either "MSS" or "MLL" over "New Year 1873". It's a beautiful piece and I'd like to know the value and the origen. Any assistance would be appreciated. RAM
