Description

Would like to know the history and value of this item purchased from a car boot sale in France.

I think it is a sauce pot for oysters, as it is oyster shaped and has a glass insert inside the

base. Very decorative, looks silver in colour (tarnished) but there are no hallmarks just

M Douaille engraved on the base.
