Mini teapot with Angelica Kauffman art work

Description

I found this little beauty at a local thrift store. I was doing some research and found some other things with Angelica Kauffman's name on it and it seems she is highly collectible. However, I was unable to find anything like this little teapot. I have no clue if this is authentic or what...I do want to sell it so i would like to have an accurate price for this little gem. It really is very cute. The pictures do not do it justice. The only chip I found was on the mouth of the spout, just a chip off. There are no cracks or chips anywhere else.  Some of the gold filigree is fading. Other than that, this piece is in good shape. Any help here would be awesome!! Thank you in advance!

Re: Mini teapot with Angelica Kauffman art work

Your teapot is quite modern and has no connection with Angelica Kauffman, she died in 1807. This teapot is unlikely to predate the 1970's, pictures based on Kauffman's work is often found on china . Values for pieces like this are very modest, generally under $10.00.

Re: Mini teapot with Angelica Kauffman art work

Her name is actually on the teapot next to the painting on the front of the tea pot...i kind of thought it was too modern... thanks for your info. I appreciate your input!
