Description

Found this in a junk pile, wondering what it is.  I'm Looking to restore it if it's anything special

It has a bulb in the circle visor screen, and on the front there are 3 sliders that slide a screen of red, blue, or green over the light. Looks like it take two D cell batteries, and going by what's inside, the buttons on top are on and off. When the 'On' is presses, it pushes a copper fitting into a 'closed' loop, although there seems to be a part missing. Like I said, looking to restore it if I can get a better feel of what it is and what it's for. Thanks.

Found out what this is.  It's a WW2 army issue flashlight.  The red,blue and green lenses are for different conditions.  It's similar to those given to German soldiers.  Now time to get it appraised, and cleaned up if it will increase the value.
