History:

This print was painted by an artist called Joshua Reynolds who painted it in 1780s. The painting is actually called "Age of Innocence" and it is said to depict a young girl known as the "strawberry girl" who could have been Theophila Gwatkin, Joshua's great-niece, or Lady Anne Spencer, the daughter of the 4th Duke of Marlborough. The original title of the painting was "The Little Girl" but was changed to "The Age of Innocence" but was changed in the 1800s by Joseph Grozer after Joshua Reynolds death. The print was quite popular and is now hung on display in the Tate, a museum that displays British art.  Since the print was popular, a lot of reprints and copies were produced in the late 1800s and early 1900s. My guess is that your's is a reprint from the early 1900s by looking at the colors.

Market & Appraisal:

The market is not very strong due to the limited Joshua Reynolds collectors but a person collecting British art may purchase the piece. Being a repring, but in great condition, I'd value your piece at $80-$100 to the right collector but the piece may sit on the market for quite awhile before you bank on it.

If I was any help, I'd appreciate an accepted comment! Thanks!
