Re: Mission oak chair / table combo
Mission Furniture was very popular and at it's peak just about every furniture company had a line of it in their catalogs. While the pieces by Stickley, Limbert or Roycroft are highly sought after, those by unknown makers sell for far less at auction. We see examples like this one retail for about $450.00.
Re: Mission oak chair / table combo
Thank you for your reply Lovejoy, it was very helpful! I had one antique dealer offer me $200 for it after he saw a picture of it. What do you think the minimum price for this piece might be?
Re: Mission oak chair / table combo
Dealers like to buy at auction prices, $200.00 would not be too bad for this one at auction.
