Description

This is a wonderfully made piece of furniture. Each side has 3 slats and there are 5 spindles in the back. It is a low to the ground piece of furniture. The metal pegs are made of ether stainless steel or aluminum. I have looked for hours online and cannot find another one of its kind, I may not be looking in the right places. Any information would be greatly appreciated!    NOTE: I am in the middle of sanding the wretched green paint that someone covered it with, will be staining soon, as well as making a cushion.

It looks like it was meant for use as a porch or conservatory chair, hence the green paint. It's unlikely it ever had a "natural" finish. Without a label it would be impossible to determine a maker, the mission style being all the rage and mass produced from the turn of the 19th century until World War One.

Hey, thanks Lovejoy! I would agree about the porch looking kinda feel it has to it, but I know that the green paint was a horrible fluke that the person who gave me the chair, painted it like that. Do you have any idea what a general amount to ask for it would be? Not looking to get rich by no means, but I do want to sell. Thanks again for your help!

Thanks so much! Not what I was hoping for, but maybe I can get ya to appraise it after I'm done...might not be too much more, but worth a shot!
