Re: Modulus by Drexel Trundle Bedroom Suite
I have had this same style furniture for many years. The wood is treated with a coating that allows for cleaning, no stains, etc. It is in Mint condition still. You never see stuff like this anymore.. My parents purchased this around 1967 or 1968 and it was very high end for the time. My units have a chest and then the dresser with a mirror, cabinet, shelves over it (hutch) and another connecting desk piece, as above, except with 3 drawers attached to the left of it and two large shelves over it. It came in many different styles. I also have matching bunk beds, with ladder.. vs the fold out bed above. You would be lucky to get your hands on this quality furniture. It will be included in my will when I am gone... until then, I love it still. Furniture (esp for kids) is so cheap today.. not like this stuff by Drexel.
