Morris Chair

By Trainmaster1, 18 March, 2012
Description

This is a very heavy and sturdy Morris Chair in outstanding condition. It has heavy clawed feet and nice decorated work on the front panel. Original cushions are also in wonderful (but dusty) shape. No one sat in this chair since 1954 when my mom left home as it was in a closed bedroom.

The hardware works and is complete as well. Looking for a value on this piece and it needs a good home as the house it resides in is being sold as well.

Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

History
This is a morris chair that I inherited along with a number of other items from my grandparents. I was told it went into the house when they moved in back in 1929.
