Description

I have a Mount Clemens Pottery Company Dinnerware set inherited from my great grandmother that I am interested in learning more about.  Extensive Internet searches yielded no results showing the actual pattern in the attached images.

The 35 piece set, in the box that my be original packing, includes:

6 each of Dinner Plates, Bowls, Saucers, Cups and Dessert Plates, 1 large Serving Bowl, 1 small Serving Bowl, 1 Platter, 1 Creamer and 1 Sugar Bowl.  Color is creamy with gold leaf (?) trim around the edges.  Some pieces have noticible glaze crazing but are in otherwise great condition for their age, with no cracks or chips.

Logo on the bottom of the pieces indicate MCP Co, Mt. Clemens Pottery Comppany of Mt. Clemens, MI.  MADE IN U.S.A. and WARRANTED 22 KARAT GOLD also appear, as does the production number 1133R.

Any additional information on this set would be greatly appreciated, I could post additional pics upon request.  Thank you.

History Inherited from my great grandmother upon her passing, I was young at the time and really have no historical informationd other than she grew up in Milwaukee, WI, and may have possibly purchased the set at a local Woolworth's. I have had the set stored in my closet all these years. With no heirs interested in the pieces, I am trying to determine what to do with them next.
