Re: Murano Black Faced Glass Clown

Reply to your message: The only Murano glass clown I have ever seen that sells for over a thousand+ are the Sleeping Figure Clowns.

I cant tell you if a black face is rare or not but from what I see online the other colors sell for less than $50.00 in that size.

See if you can find a Murano clown collector site, they would probably know. Good Luck.

On a personal note...... I have a great fear of clowns in any shape or form they creep me out and give me nightmares. :)

Re: Murano Black Faced Glass Clown

Black face clowns are the rarest of all clowns!

Your clown was imported to the US by a company called Jordan's Importing Company and is probably worth around $250 - $350. The clown was either made by Seguso or Venini.

A great find! Well done.
