My first knife

By hooligan306, 20 October, 2009
Description

The blade is stamped 19125 Solingen-Germany, on the other side of the blade base, there is a stamp that appears to be a closed fist holding three swords (?) The blade appears to have "Hollow Ground" printed on it in an artistic font.
The handle appears to be stag. The sheath is leather with a Male Deer stamped into it. On the reverse side of the sheath, it is stamped "Made in Germany".
This was the first knife my father bought for me, sometime in the late 1970's. My collection is now over 400, and adding to it every day for my son. I am curious as to the manufacturer (Especially with the different stamp with the fist) and a value, if possible. I am not in terested in selling it, but would like to have history. Thanks for any help.
