Description
The back side of frame is extremely dark in color. The painting is not original to the frame, yet canvas is a brownish color on the backside. The frame is beautiful and i would like to clean it. I can see small, round, rusty nail heads around the back of the frame (i assume, holding it together). I am of course interested in the paintings history.
