My Mother

This charming poem is dedicated to Christian Mothers, in particular, the authors mother. It is hand lettered judging by the gloss on the lettering and the varying size of the font. The watercolor violets are beautifully colored and scattered lightly through the text body. The document appears to be printed on a thick cardstock like material. The entire print is in fabulous condition. There are no water stains or tears. The thin frame is in fair condition. It is signed in the bottom right corner "Hervey Smith McGowan". I have researched  and according to the little information available Mr. McGowan was an American,  early 20th century author and motivational speaker.
