Description
This register was purchased new and was used in my uncles drug store. It was passed down to me and I have kept it good working original condtion. It has a mohogany wood cabinet and it has a brass plate with what I believe to be the serial # 44037 on the front. I have tried to locate the model # but dont know where to look for it. It has original delevery and warranty papers on bottom of drawer. Attached are photos and I would appreciate any help I can get to determine the value.
Re: national cash register
To check your serial#, which if is actually 44,0370 would date it to 1905 see http://www.hbacgroup.com/buy%20own%20register.htm & they may even buy it, if rare. The price depends upon scarcity, demand & #1-if anything is missing. It is good you have the original papers. The minimum price for a brass one in poor condition is $250. I saw a 1905 sell for $1,500.00 on live auctioneer. Another useful site is... http://brassregisters.com/ncr/NCRPage.htm
