Description
Don't know anything about the history. I was given it by a relative. I haven't cleaned it as I am unsure how to without damaging the brass. It appears to be quite old. The bits move, but are a little bit stiff. It is housed in a wooden box, which has been engraved and has an anchor symbol.

Google searches suggest 19th or early 20th century.

It was given to me in Waterford, Ireland. I don't know where it originated.
