Description I inhereted a China place setting from my 90 year old aunt. I have tried to search the web to find out its worth and info, with no success. I contacted a couple dealers and they did not know either. What I do know is that even though its the same pattern there are different stamps on the back. But, all original stamps are covered up by a gold stamp. See pics. I can make out tirshenreuth on some and and arzberg, I believe. All bavaria Germany. Some have a green crown and some red.

Distinguishing marks Green arzberg only on some, green royal mark with tirshenreuth Germany 978 on some, green shield with CM inside with illegible writing under it because if this ,gold stamp over it. another green shield with looks like an R to left of shield and a L on right and writing then 39,and some with a red royal stamp, I believe. Now I can't find that piece.
